About Wilmington City Schools
Welcome

Education works best when the dedication and commitment of four groups converge ... students who are eager to learn and willing to work hard, parents who provide support and motivation, teachers and school staff who go the extra mile, and a community that provides resources and invests in its next generation of leaders and workers.

I can't imagine a profession being more rewarding than education, and I'm proud to be a part of a school district that is committed to improvement and the pursuit of excellence and to live in Wilmington where people take pride and interest in their schools.
