The Martins
Landon, Justin, Jordan, Tonya & Tim
Greetings! My name is Tim Martin and I have been a teacher at Wilmington for 24 years. I served 3 years in the United States Army prior to receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in 1982 from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida. I then attended Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio where I received my teacher certification credentials in Special Education and Career Connections. I taught 15 years in the Special Education Dep’t, before taking over my current position as a coordinator in the Career Based Intervention Program. I also serve as the Senior Class advisor (21years), Athletic Faculty Manager (22 years), Boys Varsity Golf Coach (9 years), and Hurricane Leadership Club advisor (10 years).
I am married to Tonya (we just celebrated 26 years!), who serves as an aide to handicapped students here at WHS. We are the proud parents of 3 young men. Family is very important to us. Two of our sons are pursuing college degrees. Our oldest son, a UC grad, is employed by Boys and Girls Club of Cincinnati. We all love sports, especially our beloved Bengals, Reds, & of course the Hurryin’ Hurricane of Wilmington High School! (We also have 2 boxer dogs, Griff & Jalen)
