                    A MISSION FOR SUCCESSj0162961.gif

My mission as an educator is to ensure that each and every student is prepared for success in school and outside of school.  I will make sure my students make good choices and take responsibility for their actions.  Every day I will show my students that I care about them and their futures.  I will instill positive beliefs among my students.  They will learn to believe in themselves and set high goals for their futures.  I will generate interest in education by using creative means to teach different lessons.  I will expect students to engage themselves in every assignment and work to their fullest potential.  I will put forth my greatest efforts to educate students and make sure they are giving me everything they have.

Rules and Policies
Rules:
No Food or Drink in Class
Respect
No SLEEPING
Be on time
Come Prepared
No Cell Phones

Policies:
Late Homework Policy:  You may turn late homework in for deductions up to the point when I return that assignment back to your classmates with a grade on it.  This is to prevent copying and cheating.  If I have returned an assignment with a grade on it and you have not turned it in, you are out of luck and may not turn it in….NO EXCEPTIONS

Make-Up Work:
If you know there is a test or review day and you are absent, you WILL take the test the day you return.  Call one of your friends to find out what the review was about.  You will always know a couple days in advance when the test is.  The same is true for homework, have it ready when you return.

If you are absent on a day something is assigned you get one extra day to make it up for every day you are absent.

If you are absent on a day when a major project is due you MUST find a way to get it into school by the end of the day.

Materials:
Keeping organized is the key to my class.  Make sure you have a notebook for note-taking and a folder to hold all of your returned papers.

We do a lot of little projects in here so if you happen to have markers or colored pencils those will come in handy.
