What You Need to Know About Fourth Grade
|

| In order to meet your child's academic needs, teachers in fourth grade are departmentalized. Your child will have four or five different teachers throughout the school day. |
| Your child will spend 120 minutes in Language Arts (with Mrs. Spahr and/or Mrs. Goings) and have 60 minute periods of math (Mrs. Slone), Science (Mr. Garnai) and Social Studies (Mrs. Barcelo). |
| We are adding a new special class for all students. In addition to P.E., Music, Art and Library, students will also have computer class. during this time, 4th grade students will be using math and reading on-line programs along with completing special projects. |
