It is my belief that every child is capable of succeeding in my social studies classroom. Each student possesses a unique set of strengths, skills, and experiences. I have set up my classroom so that no matter where students look they will know they are in a social studies classroom. Students can use the environment to help them be successful social studies students.
It is imperative that students complete homework assignments. Missing assignments detract from the students' participation in class. If assignments are not completed, students are not able to let me know what they did not understand.
It is my goal to create an atmosphere where every student feels safe and is able to learn. I believe we are on our way and are continually working to improve each class.
