WHS Families, Football Players, and Coaches - The following is a message from Coach Killen, WHS Administration, and the Athletic Department:

We have recently been notified that a coach has tested positive for Covid-19. Due to this, the Wilmington Athletic Department, Administration, and I all feel it is best to cancel the game this Friday with St. Francis de Sales. No determination has been made about the remaining games.

Tonight’s practice has been canceled to allow time for the Clinton County Health District conduct contact tracing.  I will provide you an update on Friday regarding practice schedules and updates.  If any athlete or coach was in close contact, you will receive a phone call from the Clinton County Health District. If you do not receive a call from the health department, then you have not been found to be in close contact.

If you have any questions, contact WHS Principal Samantha Woodruff, Athletic Director Troy Diels at 937-382-7716, or the Clinton County Health District at (937) 382-7221. Thank you for helping to keep people safe and to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community and school.

This truly is heartbreaking for me to send this out and I want you all to know how proud I am of every one of you. As we have said all year, control what we can control. How you respond to an event in your life will determine the outcome.

F.A.M.I.L.Y

Proud to be your Coach
Scott Killen, WHS Varsity Football Coach
