WCS is committed to the safety and health of our students and staff. We want to inform you that we have recently received information about a confirmed case of COVID-19 in a student or staff member at Holmes Elementary.  You will receive a separate notification if your child is in the same classroom as the individual that has a confirmed case.  Cleaning and disinfecting of any exposed locations have been completed.

We have been working closely with the Clinton County Health District and contact tracing has been completed. It was determined that there was no close contact or exposure at school.

Close Contact is defined by CDC and the CCHD as being closer than six feet apart for fifteen minutes or more while the person was infectious, which applies from two days before any symptoms began.

If you have any questions, contact Holmes Elementary at 937-382-2750 or the Clinton County Health District at 937-382-7221. Thank you for helping to keep people safe and to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community and school.
