Middle/High School Start Monday, 8/18!

We excited to announce that Wilmington High School and Wilmington Middle School will be open for students on Monday, August 18th. 

Students will be served brown bag lunches for the week at the middle & high school buildings. Grab-n-Go breakfast will also be available. Serving lines will be different than in past years as we work around our construction. Students will be informed during their first class informational meetings of where they will pick up their lunches and where they will eat.

Work on our kitchen sewer line will continue as additional repairs are needed to bring the kitchen sewer system back to full operational standards. All other sewer lines are functioning properly as are the restrooms they support. 

We have engineers working with our contractors to ensure that all repairs will be completed safely and will restore the overall integrity of the sewage system. If completion of the repairs to the system requires additional time beyond next week you will receive additional communication from the district.

The Board of Education, the administration and our staff want to thank you for your patience as we work through these challenges to provide a great start to the school year for our students.
