Supervisor of Buildings/Grounds, Maintenance and Custodial Services

Wilmington City Schools, in Clinton County Ohio, is seeking a Supervisor for the Maintenance and Custodial Services Department. The current department consists of approximately 17 custodians and 2 maintenance staff members. This department is responsible for 460,000 square feet of buildings for 2,700 students and staff members. The school district has one high school, one middle school, three elementary schools, an administrative office building, and two outdoor sports facilities.   Salary is to be determined by relevant administrative experience/education by the Board of Education. 


The preferred candidates will have demonstrated administrative experience in the following areas of building operations:

  • HVAC, project planning/management;

  • knowledge of data systems to include all Microsoft Office programs and Google Docs; 

  • leadership, management, and financial budgeting skills; 

  • labor relations and contract management skill; 

  • ability to work with and listen to others to accomplish high standards of service and communication for school community customers.  

This position will assist in the planning, organization, and operations of the schools in accordance with State standards, county requirements, and District policies and regulations.
