Summer Lunch Program 2023

It's back!  Through a Federal program, the Wilmington City School District is able to offer lunch free of charge this Summer to all children 18 years and under in the Wilmington community as follows:

  • Lunch will be served Monday through Friday, from May 30th through August 11th (excluding July 4th).
  • Meal service will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Wilmington Middle School cafeteria
  • Children do not have to be enrolled in WCS or on free or reduced meals to receive a lunch free of charge.
  • Each day, three entrees will be offered with fresh fruits and vegetables and two flavors of milk.  
  • All meals must be consumed on-site and must meet the National School Lunch Program required components.

Please join us this summer to beat the heat and eat some nutritious and delicious food! Adult meals available for $5.
